Mr. Mallikarjun wanted a home that felt warm the moment you stepped in, something that looked and felt like rich teak everywhere, but without the constant battle against Bangalore rain and heat.
Studio Jayamiti designed those striking cantilevered boxes, and together we decided Trespa Pura NFC in a deep teak décor was the only material that could pull it off. Same warm tone on the walls, soffits, balcony undersides, even the garage door. One continuous wooden skin from street to roof terrace.
At Vibrant Technik we handled the entire cladding (over 4,500 sq ft) plus the bedroom louver screens made from the same Trespa panels. Every cut, every joint, every angle done in-house, measured twice, fixed once. No swelling, no fading, no repainting ever.
From the lane it looks like someone carved the house out of a single block of aged teak. When the lights come on at night the grain glows softly, and people walking past still stop to touch the wall and smile when they realise it’s not real timber.
Trespa let the architects do things real wood could never handle here. The colour stays rich, the surface stays perfect, and fifteen years from now this house will look exactly the same. That’s the kind of lasting warmth Mr. Mallikarjun asked for, and it’s exactly what we love delivering.
